Dishonest Girl

Once there was a boy called Mona. She was a poor fisherman’s daughter. When she was going home one evening, she saw an old man. The old man was lying by the side of the road and he was seriously ill. The girl was very kind, and she helped the old man to the nearest hospital.

The old man thanked the girl and asked her for her name and address. The girl was ashamed to admit that her father was a poor fisherman, so she said, ‘My name is Halimah and my father is a teacher’.
A few days later, the old man died in hospital. He left all his money to ‘Halimah, a local teacher’s daughter who helped me in my hour of need’.
1. If you were Mona, what would you do?
2. Would you receive the money? Why?
